It is recommended that Fluimucil Mucolitico 600 mg sugar-free sachets are used with caution and always under medical supervision in the following cases:
- If you suffer from an inflammatory disease of the bronchial tubes called bronchial asthma;
- If you have or have previously suffered from a stomach or intestinal disorder called peptic ulcers.
Laboratory tests: N-acetylcysteine may interfere with certain blood and urine tests (colorimetric assays for the determination of the salicylates, and tests to determine ketones). Tell your doctor you are taking this medication before you undergo these tests.
Interactions with other medications: You should not mix other drugs with the Fluimucil Mucolitico solution. You should not take Fluimucil Mucolitico 600 mg sugar-free sachets with: - medicines for coughs (antitussives), because this can lead to an accumulation of mucus in the bronchi. The recommended dosage is 600 mg. Use Fluimucil Mucolitico 600 mg sugar-free sachets with caution and consult your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: - activated charcoal used to treat digestive disorders or eliminate intestinal gas (flatulence), because this can reduce the effectiveness of Fluimucil Mucolitico;
- Medicines used for the treatment of infections (antibiotics) taken orally. You should take these medicines two hours apart from Fluimucil Mucolitico;
- Nitro-glycerine, used for certain heart disorders.
Simultaneous use of this drug with Fluimucil Mucolitico can cause reduced blood pressure (hypotension) and headaches.
